The client was experiencing major issues with inconsistent indoor temperatures, excessive dust, cold floors, and ongoing condensation within the walls due to the age of the home. Being located in a damp and dewy environment, the property struggled to maintain stable temperatures throughout the year, with significant heat loss during winter and excessive warmth during summer. The home also had little to no existing wall insulation or sisalation, which contributed to condensation buildup inside the walls and reduced overall thermal efficiency. In addition, the ageing ceiling insulation had deteriorated over time, while the uninsulated floors made the home feel noticeably colder during winter months.

We completed a full insulation upgrade for the property, beginning with a comprehensive roof cavity vacuum to remove decades of accumulated dust and debris before installing new insulation. Due to the dewy conditions surrounding the home, we installed a higher R-rating ceiling insulation system to provide improved thermal performance and more effective year-round temperature control suited to the environment.
To further improve comfort and energy efficiency, we also installed underfloor insulation to minimise cold floorboards and reduce heat loss through the flooring. In addition, we completed wall insulation through the weatherboards using a highly seamless installation process with minimal disruption to the home. As the property was an older home with no sisalation, condensation within the walls had become an ongoing issue. The silicone-treated wall insulation was specifically selected to assist with condensation management while also significantly improving thermal control throughout the property.
The client noticed immediate improvements in overall comfort, temperature consistency, reduced condensation, and a much cleaner indoor environment following the completion of the works.
